I'll be in Umbria often during 2020-2021 doing research on a book of rustic recipes and the flora of the land. Discovering marvelous local produce, regional artisanal products, cheese 'n wine, vibrant olive oil; foraging the bounty of wild herbs, greens 'n fruits that blanket the hillsides and intertwine with olive grove and wood; gathering age-old rustic recipes from friend 'n neighbor, and stirring it all up into savory dishes in the kitchen of a 14th century villa perched on a mount overlooking hill 'n dale.
