Looking for a private hands-on cooking class while you're in Paris? A class offering vegetarian dishes that celebrate seasonal organic and local fruits & vegetables, inspired by the exuberant and rustic cuisine of Italy? Then come over to my kitchen for a truly "home-spun" experience.
Classes with a market tour start with a morning visit to the marketplace to buy fresh seasonal, organic and local produce before wandering (or biking) back to my cozy apartment in the 11th arrondissment, shared with my cat Cicerone, to stir up a delicious three-course vegetarian meal. When the chopping and whisking has ended, we'll settle around the table to chat and share the dishes we've created, sipping vibrant vin nature from the Loire Valley specially chosen for our meal. You'll receive the recipes and other tibits of interest that arise during the class in a follow up email.
Classes without a market tour simply start a bit later in the day in my cozy, well-equiped kitchen.
If you're interested in extending the experience, we can add an artisan food tour to the mix and make a full day of it : we'll spend an extra couple hours visiting my favorite off-the-beaten-path bakeries, cheese, chocolate and olive oil specialty shops around the historic Beauvau marché, and beyond — with tastings a plenty.
